Wine Cork Corkboard
Here's a simple craft to turn discarded corks into a useful corkboard. You can collect the corks yourself or you can buy them from a craft supply store.
Supplies
- Picture frame approximately 16” x 20” or larger (glass removed)
- 1 piece of plywood approximately 16”x20”cut to fit in the back of the frame
- Approximately 200 corks. Enough to fit in the frame. (You can buy them or collect them.)
- Hot glue gun.
Instructions
- Remove backing and glass from your frame.
- Cut the plywood to fit into the back of the frame.
- Cut corks down the middle lengthwise.
- Glue the corks in a herringbone pattern flat side down. (Two side by side next to two more corks placed at 90 degrees. Repeat the pattern.)
- Let glue dry and set. Hang and take notes to your new corkboard.
